Q: How is my custom
portrait created?
A: Your portrait is created electronically with the latest sophisticated
drawing/painting software. Your portrait will be an original,
one-of-a-kind piece of art, based on a photo of the car that you
provide, or a description of the desired car. Your portrait will be
unique…there will never be another one just like it! Each portrait will
be output on photo quality paper and signed by the artist!

Q: What size is the portrait?
A: Our standard portrait size is 12" x 18", but custom sizes are
available at a small additional cost. Contact us for more information on
custom sized portraits.

Q; What does it cost?
A: A custom portrait is $399. Custom sizes are priced higher, depending
on the desired size. Semi-custom portraits are $129. Semi-custom
portraits are also available in larger sizes.

Q: How long
does it take to create my portrait?
A: Since each custom portrait is individually created, you can expect
your portrait to arrive in approx. 3-4 weeks. If the volume of orders
becomes too great, you may have to wait a bit longer, but we will always
let you know via email if there will be a delay. If your portrait is
meant as a gift, please place your order early enough to allow us ample
time to create your portrait. All orders will be filled on a first-come,
first-served basis.

Q: What kind of photo do you need in order to create my portrait?
A: The best portraits will come from the best photos. Be sure to take
your picture from the angle you would like to have your car’s portrait
done (3/4 view, side view, etc.) Also be sure to keep the photo in
focus! Try to shoot your picture outdoors rather than indoors, and
during the daytime (unless you want a nighttime portrait!) You can mail
us a photo (which will be returned to you with your finished portrait)
or you can
email us a digital photo.

Q: What if I want a custom portrait of a car that I don’t own? Can I
send you a picture from a book or magazine? Or just a description of a
car I wish I had?
A: Yes, we can do a portrait from any picture source…or your exact
description…even a car that you don’t own (but wish you did!)

Q: What do
I need to do to get my portrait started?
A: Click on the "Place an Order" link, and fill out the information
request. Be sure to let us know whether you will be mailing us your
photo or sending us a digital image. If you have any questions,

Q: Will you frame my
portrait for me?
A: Yes, we offer framed and matted custom and semi-custom portraits. You can choose from our
standard frame and mat colors,
or
email us with a special request.

Q: I belong to a car club. Is there a discount for multiple orders?
A: Yes! We offer a 10% discount on orders from 5 to 10 portraits, and
15% on orders of 10+ portraits, so get your club organized, order as a
group, and save. But remember, multiple orders will take longer to
complete, because each portrait is a unique, original work of art.

Q: Can you change the
color of my car?
A: Yes, we can portray your car in any color you like.

Q: What if I want something truly "custom", like a specific background,
different wheels, etc?
A: We will be happy to provide a quote for any custom order.

Q: Can you do portraits of any car? Does it have to be a muscle car?
A: We can do a portrait of any car…from the great classics of the “Brass
Age” right up to today’s latest models. If it's special to you, let us
immortalize it forever.

Q: Is my portrait
really one-of-a-kind?
A: Yes! Your portrait will be unique. There will not be another one just
like it. Even though many people own similar cars, your portrait will be
of your specific car, with your vehicles unique features and
customizations.

Q: What is a “semi-custom” portrait? Why does it cost less than a custom
portrait?
A: A semi-custom portrait is a portrait of one of the cars already in
our current inventory of illustrations. Each semi-custom portrait is of
the same high quality as our custom portraits, but they are not unique.
Anyone can order a semi-custom portrait of a Viper, for instance, and
they will all get the same portrait. Since our semi-custom portraits are
existing “in-stock” illustrations, they will be shipped to you in a
matter of days, not weeks. Our custom portraits cost more, and take
longer to produce, because they are true one-of-a-kind items. For more

Will I see a “proof” of my portrait before it’s finished?
A: Yes, we will send you an email of your illustration “in progress” in
order to give you the opportunity to see the progress of your
illustration.
